ASIATODAY.ID, JAKARTA<\/span><\/strong> \u2013 The Indonesian government requires halal certification for drugs, biological products and medical devices (alkes) that enter and circulate in the country.<\/span><\/p>\n

This regulation comes into effect on January 19, 2023. This obligation is regulated in the Presidential Regulation (Perpres) signed by Jokowi, Number 6\/2023 concerning Halal Certification of Medicines, Biological Products and Medical Devices.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Medicines, biological products, and medical devices that enter, circulate, and are traded in the territory of Indonesia must be halal certified,” Article 2 paragraph (1) reads, quoted Monday (23\/1\/2023).<\/span><\/p>\n
